2025 03Nympton News Autumn final with bleed - Flipbook - Page 63
Our focus now is on our next entertainment evening, on Friday 28th
November. Bach Reimagined is a work by James Wilton Dance, which
has toured worldwide since being established in 2010. It really is a coup
for us to be able to book them for Kings Nympton - immediately
beforehand they are appearing at the Theatre Royal in Plymouth! We
can only put events like this on by collaborating with Beaford Arts,
which is able to bring top class work to rural audiences, and keep ticket
prices low through sponsorship from the Arts Council. Bach Reimagined
is described as `a mind-blowing performance that combines powerful
music and incredible athleticism. Super-athletic dancers move with the
elegance of ballet performers, but with the raw power of gymnasts. It's
a feast for the eyes and ears unlike anything you've seen before!9
Anyoine who came to our hosting of `Knot9 last year will know how
breathtaking that can be to see live. The performance is set to Bach9s
classical compositions, reimagined with elements like heavy metal and
modern dance - a style described as `really true to Bach, but somehow
modern, energising and epic. 8 Tickets (with or without food) are
available from our website - knph.org.uk/product/bach-reimagined
