your Pokémon but sadly at the moment you can only do that if you are
next to the person as there are region specioc Pokémon.
You battle either against other players9 Pokémon in the gym or the grunts
(they are the baddies in the game). The baddies also follow you around
in hot air balloons that appear at 6 hour intervals. Once you battle 6 of
them you get to up against a leader (for a 12k egg amongst other
goodies). Then if you are really lucky (or unlucky because he is a real
menace) you battle the rocket leader Giovanni. Grrr. Boooo.
I have the absolute unit of a Pokémon in the form of
Morpeko (affectionately known as the murder hamster) He
has the ability to see off a lot of whatever is thrown at me but
it's not an easy ride by any stretch of the imagination. Each
day you are set a task to complete - catch 5 Pokémon, do 3
great throws, power up so many Pokémon then you get a
Morpeko - the research stamp and a reward. When you get 7 you get a box
of goodies. The pokestops offer oeld research and you get
murder
one a day. These can have a reward of
hamster
goodies or a Pokémon depending upon the
difoculty. On a Tuesday evening at 6 pm it9s spotlight hour.
So only a certain Pokémon will appear (or spawn) - it9s a
good time to get lots of candy for that Pokémon and
sometimes a shiny. The events are when I
really get out and walk about and mutter to
myself and punch the air. There are
special tasks to do, you have all sorts of
Pokémon to catch, yes you can get shinies.
As it9s celebrating the 9 year anniversary
