Since mounting our exhibition about Kings
Nympton history at the Barnstaple and North
Devon Museum earlier this year, we have been
looking for a permanent home in the village. We
are delighted that at their recent meeting, the Parochial
Church Council agreed to our suggestion that it could be put on display
in the North Transept. Among other factors, their decision was based on
pictures we supplied
showing how the display
boards could be set on the
pews, avoiding any impact on
the fabric of the church. They
will also be
easy to remove
should the
space be
needed for
weddings, funerals or other well-attended events. We
hope this will be a valuable resource for locals and visitors
alike.
