an effect like dry ice, which fascinated both children and adults alike!
Our swimming lessons at The Old Rectory have been hugely successful,
and we are very proud of the progress our children have made. We are
incredibly grateful to Sharron and Stewart for allowing us to use their
brilliant facilities.
World Book Day is a global celebration of books, reading, and the joy of
storytelling and aims to encourage children to develop a love for reading.
All of our children dressed up as a favourite book character and they (and
the staff) looked wonderful in their costumes. A big thank you to
everyone who took part and made the day so special!
Everyone participated in Safer Internet Day which adds to our structured
education programme on responsible and safe internet usage. We
hosted a Wonderstruck Science Day at Winkleigh for all the children in
The Woodland Federation - it was a day olled with exciting and interactive
science experiments and Kings Nympton children did us proud.
We were delighted to welcome a professional artist to our school! The
children had time to learn new painting techniques and explore their
creativity under expert guidance. During half term their wonderful artwork
was displayed at our Art
Exhibition in St James
Church; we were so proud
to see their work on public
display. It was a proud
moment for the school and
a wonderful opportunity to
celebrate creativity in our
community.
Our Subject Leaders have
collaborated with our
teachers in Maths, Geography, Science, PE,
Music and Art and are working across both of our schools to enhance
learning experiences, much of which is collaborative and support all of
our children. For the latest updates, be sure to follow us on our school
Facebook page and check our school website at https://
